Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Groundworker to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with groundworks, site preparation, and ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout the project. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects while developing your skills within the industry.

Duties

Assisting with excavation, levelling, and site clearance activities
Laying foundations, kerbing, and paving as required
Operating basic tools and machinery in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Ensuring the work area is kept clean and organised at all times
Supporting the team in maintaining safety protocols on-site
Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
Following instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and safely

Qualifications

Valid CSCS card relevant to groundworking roles
Prior experience in groundworks or construction preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Good understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
Reliable with a positive attitude towards safety and teamwork
