Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef(s) to join our brand new, growing team. Daytime hours!

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

The successful applicant will contribute to creating innovative menus and maintaining a welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee food presentation, ensuring visual appeal and consistency
Manage food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen resources
Train junior staff on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and hospitality standards
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and professional development

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
Creative flair for developing innovative dishes and menus
Leadership qualities with effective communication skills
Experience in hospitality, including serving guests and managing customer expectations
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, or special events as required
