Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting a variety of construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills, and a willingness to undertake physically demanding tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in horticulture, gardening, and construction environments while contributing to the upkeep and development of outdoor spaces and infrastructure. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair remuneration for your efforts.

Responsibilities

Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and lawn care
Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks
Supporting excavation activities using equipment such as excavators under supervision
Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution
Performing general maintenance duties across sites, including cleaning and minor repairs
Assisting with construction-related activities, including material handling and site preparation
Supporting gardening and horticultural tasks to promote healthy plant growth
Ensuring work areas are safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Practical experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
Physical fitness to undertake manual labour tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining work areas
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
A proactive attitude towards safety practices and willingness to learn new skills
