Full job description

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team at Upper Grove Farm during our busy summer season. This is an 8-week temporary contract, providing extra support to help prepare our unique railway carriage accommodation to a high standard for arriving guests.

Key responsibilities

Cleaning and preparing our railway carriages between guest stays, which includes:
Changing bed linen and making beds
Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and bedroom areas
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising surfaces
Cleaning outdoor bath / spa baths
Laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, folding and organising linens and towels
Restocking guest supplies where required
Helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site

What we're looking for

A reliable, punctual and trustworthy individual
Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential
A positive attitude and willingness to help during our busy season

What we offer

Flexible daytime working hours between 09:00am and 4:00pm
Up to 16 hours per week, with a minimum of 4 hours available
A friendly, supportive working environment
The opportunity to work in a unique and picturesque holiday accommodation setting
