Full job description

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Inspection Technician to join a busy automotive site. This role involves carrying out detailed vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and preparation tasks to ensure vehicles meet required standards.

Responsibilities:

Conduct ramp inspections to assess vehicle condition and identify faults
Perform road tests to evaluate vehicle performance and handling
Carry out basic diagnostics using appropriate tools and equipment
Remove and refit vehicle components such as trims and plastics as required
Accurately report findings and complete inspection documentation
Work efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar automotive role (inspection, technician, or prep work)
Ability to carry out road tests confidently
Familiarity with diagnostic tools is preferred
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
