ECT Teacher – PPA Cover & Classroom Support

Worthing Primary School | Year 2 & Year 5 Part‑Time / Flexible | PPA Cover & General Support

We are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Worthing who are looking for an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to provide PPA cover and general classroom support across Year 2 and Year 5 .

This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT who is keen to gain broad classroom experience , develop confidence across different year groups, and work in a school that values collaboration and professional development.

The Role

In this role, you will:

Deliver pre‑planned PPA cover lessons in Year 2 and Year 5
Provide general classroom support , working alongside class teachers
Maintain positive behaviour and a calm learning environment
Adapt confidently to different classes and learning needs
Support pupils’ learning, engagement, and wellbeing throughout the day
Work closely with staff to ensure continuity and consistency
