Steyning Medical Practice is an innovative, purpose-built GP practice, in the heart of the beautiful Sussex countryside. We are looking to recruit Patient Services Coodinators to join our friendly, hardworking Patient Services Team.

We are a large, welcoming practice with an emphasis on staff satisfaction and a sense of teamwork.

We are looking for hardworking, conscientious individuals with a background in customer service to join our Patient Services Team.

The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and provide service with a smile at all times.

Main duties for a patient services advisor

Greet patients and visitors to the practice in a professional manner.

Booking, amending and cancelling patient appointments in line with practice procedures.

Answering telephone calls promptly and processing requests in line with practice procedures.

Working within the guidelines of our appointment system.

Signposting patients to appropriate members of the admin and clinical team, community teams or outside agencies as required.

General Administration.

Maintaining an effective filing and recording system for patient data and practice documents.

We offer full training along with clear opportunities for career growth and development through a progressive pay scale

Working hours: Contracts of 20 hours to 25 hours per week available/Required

Monday to Friday. Shifts will be allocated on a rota basis and will include morning (7:45am–1:00pm), afternoon (1:00pm–6:45pm), and full-day (7:45am–6:45pm) sessions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £13.10 per hour
