Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Office Administration Assistant to join our golf club team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to excellence.

This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Membership Administration
Assisting with Golf competitions
Dealing with day-to-day enquiries
Support with the club communications, including the weekly newsletter
Support the existing team with the general office administration

About You

You will be:

Friendly, professional and confident communicating with people
Well organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable managing a varied workload
Confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and willing to support the wider operation of the club

Previous experience in administration or customer service is essential. Experience within a golf club, sports, leisure or hospitality environment would be an advantage.

Hours: 30 hours per week, with some flexibility required around club competitions and events, which could include occasional weekend work.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming golf club environment in a varied role with regular interaction with members and visitors.
