About Yorkshire Housing

What you will be doing…

Routine patrols and inspections across ‘your patch’. You’ll be emptying void properties (lifting / handling required) as well as carrying out ad-hoc maintenance work, such as lock changes or jet washing. We’ll also need you to drive the cage van from time to time (we provide training on this!). If a garden spruce up is needed, we’d like your help with this too.

Where?

You'll primarily work in South/West Yorkshire, but may need to travel around Yorkshire from time to time!

We offer a salary of £25,875 for 35 hours a week and 26 days of annual leave (rising annually to 31 days), plus bank holidays.

You’ll get a van and fuel card but you can only use it for work – so, you’ll need a driving licence.

Who are we looking for?

Ideally we are looking for people who can hit the ground running, so you’ll have worked in similar maintenance roles, great if they have been within social housing, but it’s certainly not a deal breaker! We would like someone with great customer service skills and someone who is proud to carry out their work to ensure our customers have safe and clean spaces.

You must hold a full UK driving licence for this role, and a basic DBS check will be required if successful.
