Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per year + Performance Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends!)

We are an independent garage with big ambitions, and we need an elite problem-solver to tackle the most complex diagnostic challenges and elevate the technical standard of our entire workshop.

Elite Pay for Elite Skills: A highly competitive salary of £42,000 - £48,000, reflecting your top-tier expertise.
Performance Bonuses: On top of your salary, you’ll receive bonuses directly tied to the garage’s success. (Please note: bonuses apply after the successful completion of the probationary period).
Tool Allowance: We respect your investment in your trade. We provide an annual tool allowance of up to £750 to help you maintain and upgrade your personal kit.
Honest Work, No Upselling Pressure: We do not force our team to “find” work or hit unrealistic sales targets. We fix what needs fixing, honestly and transparently.
Fully Paid Training: The automotive world is changing fast. We cover 100% of the costs for advanced training, including EV/Hybrid masterclasses.

– 5% Employer Pension Contribution (well above the UK legal minimum).

– Paid Overtime: If extra hours are ever required, they are paid at Time and a Half (1.5x).

– Great Work-Life Balance: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Keep your weekends for yourself!

– Brand-New Equipment: Every piece of kit in our workshop is less than 2 years old — state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, lifts, and specialist equipment. If something is needed, we buy it immediately. No excuses, no waiting.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Master Technician, you will be the ultimate technical authority in the workshop:

Leading complex diagnostic work, electrical fault-finding, and advanced mechanical repairs using our brand-new, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment (all less than 2 years old).
Mentoring and supporting junior technicians, sharing your expertise to raise the team’s overall skill level.
Staying ahead of the curve on new vehicle technologies, including EV and Hybrid systems.
Working closely with the Garage Manager to ensure all work meets the highest quality standards.

Who We Are Looking For

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience, with proven experience as a Senior or Master Technician.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 4, Master Technician accreditation, or equivalent brand-specific Master status. EV/Hybrid Level 3 or 4 is a massive advantage.
Skills: Exceptional diagnostic capabilities, deep electrical knowledge, and the ability to solve problems others can’t.
Attitude: A natural mentor who leads by example and takes immense pride in their craft.
