ITAS is an award-winning Sage Partner with a rapidly expanding team that help SMEs and mid-size organisations transform the way they work with innovative accounting software solutions.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping customers, who loves technology and wants to grow and develop
Job Title: Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of financial software solutions for our growing client base. You will own the end-to-end project lifecycle – from initiation through to successful go-live – acting as the primary point of contact for clients and coordinating a team of consultants to deliver the technical aspects of each engagement. This role requires a blend of strong project management discipline, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in finance, accounting, and the products we implement.
You will be hands-on with customers throughout the project – building trusted relationships, managing expectations, and keeping stakeholders informed and engaged at every stage. If you thrive on being accountable, enjoy leading teams, and take pride in delivering projects that genuinely transform the way our clients work, we want to hear from you.
This is a hands-on Digital Transformation role within a fast-paced Sage Partner environment. You will take ownership of multiple concurrent projects, directing and coordinating the work of our consultant team to ensure technical deliverables are completed on time and to the required standard, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction within a defined commercial framework.
If you enjoy the challenge of managing competing priorities, love working closely with customers, and want to be part of a team that is genuinely making a difference for growing businesses, this role is for you.
Position Overview:
· Leading end-to-end project planning, resource scheduling, and the production of clear project reporting and status updates for customers and internal stakeholders
· Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, and budgets
· Proactively managing project controls including the formal change request process – assessing, logging, and communicating scope changes – and overseeing project budgets to ensure delivery within agreed financial parameters
· Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project and that project deadlines are met, according to internal policies
· Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
· Acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle – proactively managing the client relationship, setting clear expectations, communicating progress, and resolving issues promptly and professionally
· Coordinating and directing the work of a team of consultants responsible for the technical delivery of projects, ensuring workstreams are clearly assigned, dependencies are managed, and quality standards are met
· Providing administrative support as needed
· Proactively engaging with internal business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, sharing insights, gathering feedback, and helping to embed consistent best practice across the organisation
Skills
· Very positive approach and great customer service
· 1+ years of experience in a project management or similar delivery role
· PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification (or working towards one)
· Resource and Diary Management knowledge
· Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
· Experience using ClickUp, Asana, Jira, or other project management tool
· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and SharePoint
· Ability to work on tight deadlines
· Commitment to self-directed learning and continuous professional development, including proactively building knowledge of the finance and accounting sector and staying current with product and solution developments relevant to our clients’ needs
