We’re looking for an experienced, passionate and highly skilled Permanent Makeup Artist to join our growing clinic and training academy.

Cosmetic College is an established aesthetic training academy and private clinic, delivering accredited education alongside high-quality aesthetic treatments.
As demand for Permanent Makeup continues to grow, we’re expanding our team and are looking for an exceptional artist who shares our passion for quality, patient care and education.
The Role
You’ll primarily provide Permanent Makeup treatments to clinic clients while supporting the continued growth of our PMU department.
For the right candidate, there will also be the opportunity to progress into teaching, mentoring and assessing future Permanent Makeup artists.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality Permanent Makeup treatments.
- Performing thorough consultations and treatment planning.
- Creating natural, bespoke treatment outcomes tailored to each client.
- Maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and customer service.
- Building long-term relationships with clients.
- Maintaining accurate consultation, consent and treatment records.
- Working collaboratively with the wider clinic and academy team.
- Supporting the growth and reputation of the Permanent Makeup department.
- Participating in clinic marketing, portfolio development and promotional events where appropriate.
- For suitable candidates, progressing into education, mentoring and practical training.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have experience in:
- Microblading.
- Cosmetic tattooing using a digital PMU machine.
- Ombre brows.
- Powder and shaded brows.
- Hairstroke brows.
- Lip blush.
- Permanent eyeliner.
You will also have:
- A minimum of two years’ hands-on Permanent Makeup experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating consistently high-quality healed and immediately post-treatment results.
- Excellent consultation and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding client care.
- High standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Highly desirable:
- VTCT Level 4 Permanent Makeup qualification or another Ofqual-regulated equivalent qualification.
- Teaching or training experience.
- Assessor qualification.
- Education and Training qualification.
However, we also welcome applications from experienced artists with five or more years of industry experience who demonstrate exceptional technical ability, professionalism and a strong portfolio. For the right person, we are happy to support your development into an educator through our own Education and Assessor programmes.

Location
As this is a hands-on clinical role, applicants should be able to travel reliably to our Orpington clinic. We encourage applications from candidates based locally or within a practical commuting distance, enabling regular attendance and long-term commitment to the role.
Working Pattern
Minimum four days per week.
Weekend availability is preferred.
Immediate start available.
