Delivery Driver

As an independent family run business based in Cirencester, Dolcetti Ice Cream has grown into a leading supplier of Traditional Italian gelato in the Cotswolds. Made in our own factory, all of our deliveries are made to local restaurants, hotels and catering businesses using our climate controlled van. We are always interested in people who enjoy being part of a team. Our delivery drivers are at the heart of our business as they are responsible for delivering our products direct to our customers. A fastidious eye for detail and accuracy, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Establishing excellent working relationships with Management, Suppliers and Customers
Carry out your responsibilities in an efficient and safe manner, ensuring Health and Safety matters are at the forefront at all times
Ensure that when driving, all vehicle checks are carried out and that the vehicle is driven in a safe and courteous manner and that the vehicle remains within legal tolerances at all times
Driving our vehicles and maintaining them to a high standard
Maintaining our mechanical support equipment
Controlling and rotating stock in our storage areas
Delivery of equipment and assisting with setting up at Public Shows
Behave at all times in a manner that is benefiting of a Dolcetti employee and that you do not act in a manner which may bring the Company, Suppliers or its Customers into disrepute.
Qualifications
Secondary education
A full standard (Class B1) UK driving licence – minimum 10 years
Must have a clean drivers licence
Physically fit
Able to work comfortably as an individual and as part of a team

Passionate about food and willing to get involved in all aspects of the business operation
Available to work on weekends and occasionally Bank holidays as the business requires
Good level of spoken English
