Health Care Assistant /Care Worker

Location: Weymouth & Portland, DorsetJob Type: Full-time, Part-time, and Bank positions available

Serenity Care Circle Limited provides high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care, supporting people to live safely and independently in their own homes. We are looking for compassionate, reliable and committed Care Workers to join our growing team.

Whether you have previous care experience or are looking to start a rewarding career, we would love to hear from you. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality personal care while promoting dignity, independence and choice.
Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and mobility.
Support with meal preparation, hydration and nutrition.
Administer or assist with medication following company policies and training.
Follow individual care and support plans.
Build positive, respectful relationships with service users and their families.
Maintain accurate electronic care records using our digital care system.
Report concerns promptly, including safeguarding and changes in a person’s wellbeing.
Support service users to attend appointments and participate in their local community where required.
Follow infection prevention, health and safety, and company policies at all times.

What We’re Looking For

A kind, compassionate and respectful approach.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, professional and committed.
Basic IT skills to complete electronic care records.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training is provided.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable due to the community-based nature of the role but not a blocker.
