Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of Portal Frame Fabrication. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise a variety of tools, and contribute to high-quality production processes. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to precision, safety, and craftsmanship.

Duties

Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, primarily Portal Frame Components.
Fabricate parts and structures according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment efficiently to assemble and modify components.
Measure and cut materials accurately using appropriate tools, ensuring precise fit-up for assembly.
Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Skills

Proven experience in MIG welding with a strong understanding of BS EN 1090 CE welding standards.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication tasks.
Mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes and interpret technical drawings.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements .
Strong attention to detail to ensure weld quality and accurate fabrication.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about welding and fabrication who are eager to develop their skills further within a professional setting. All positions are paid, to reflect the importance of skilled craftsmanship in our operations.

Pay: £12.33-£15.00 per hour
