About the Role:

As a People Advisor, you will be an integral member of the People Team, supporting the day-to-day operations of the department. Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing a varied and high volume Employee Relations caseload, primarily including absence management, welfare, performance management, maternity/paternity, disciplinaries and grievances - with the support of the HRBP.
Providing comprehensive support and advice to line managers on a wide range of Employee Relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment law, company policies, and best practice.
Championing and maintaining a culture of service excellence; ensuring that the expectations and requirements of the departments stakeholders are delivered upon.
Facilitating formal meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and procedural compliance.
Ensuring that all documentation and records that are created and maintained by you are complete, accurate and aligned with any required standards.
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge and awareness of relevant legislation.
Support the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery and reduce organisational risk.

Essential Criteria:

Previous HR experience with a solid understanding of Employee Relations, formal HR processes & Employment Law
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively build relationships
Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail
Full UK driving licence

Desirable Criteria:

CIPD Qualified (Level 3 or above)
