Full job description

We are a new hospitality business looking for an experienced Executive Chef to consult and advise on the creation a new venue in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water. We will be launching a new gastro pub and coffee shop which are both in prime footfall locations.

This role is for someone with experience, to work with the directors of the business to advise and create a consistent yet high quality menu to deliver on scale alongside a successfully functioning kitchen.

This is ideal for someone self employed, retired or looking for a secondary employment opportunity.

Requirements:

Creation of a simple yet high quality food offering.
Work with the management to ensure high gross profit margins and minimal wastage.
Work with the management to recruit a kitchen team.
Create recipe cards and put systems into place to ensure consistency.
Advise on food hygiene, health and safety standards and allergen controls.

2 days per week, 1 day on-site and 1 day worth of ad hoc support throughout the week.

£24,000pa.
