Full job description

An established and growing national law firm is looking for an Office and Facilities Assistant in its Bristol office. This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of the office, keeping the workplace running smoothly and giving colleagues and clients first class internal and external customer service alongside facilities administration.

What you'll do:

Provide a professional front-of-house service, covering reception, visitors and events as required.
Process incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, scanning, photocopying and document production, including binding and laminating.
Manage stationery, IT consumables and office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
Support new starters and leavers with workspace, equipment and office set-up requirements.
Maintain meeting rooms, client areas and office facilities, including AV set-up and catering support.
Liaise with contractors, engineers and service providers, supporting the smooth running of office operations.
Support health and safety compliance, including Fire Warden and First Aid responsibilities where required.
Travel occasionally to support other office locations and undertake additional duties as requested by the Office Manager.

What we are looking for:

Experience working in an office or business support environment, ideally handling post, administration and workplace support activities.
A highly professional, positive and proactive approach, with pride in delivering high standards of service.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work flexibly, and collaborate effectively within a team.
Good IT literacy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
An interest in workplace operations, facilities management and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices (desirable).

Ability to work 36.25 hours per week on a shift pattern between 08:00 and 18:00.
