Harts of Stur is a fourth-generation family business and have been established since 1919. We have extensive premises built on the original site where our founder, the late Walter Hart, was Sturminster Newton's local Blacksmith.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Must be reliable, punctual and confident with websites. You must be motivated, a team player, quick to learn and be able to work at speed and under pressure, and be willing to go that extra mile when the need arises.
The successful applicant must have excellent organisational skills, previous experience working with online marketplaces and be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Basic html / CSS understanding, Magento experience, if not knowledge or understanding of web CMS is beneficial but not essential. Understanding of SEO and content writing for SEO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain and upload accurate product listings including attributes
· Develop and create new brand & department pages on our website
· Assist in updating website content, banners, and promotional messaging
· Ensure product categorisation, tags, and filters are optimised for easy navigation and SEO
· Completing and maintaining of required product filtering and attributes of new products
· Removal of discontinued products from all sales platforms
· Updating of product codes and data across all sales platforms
· Assist with testing and QA of new website changes and development projects
· Auditing of company webpages and keeping them up to date
· Collaborate of digital content and campaigns, aligned with the brand voice, audience interests for social media platforms
· Update and maximise the opportunity of promotion price changes, redemptions and freebies
· Communicating to internal parties of any information of any promotions, redemptions and freebies
· Assisting with the E-commerce team of any duties required, including Third Party platforms
· Carry out any other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Company Directors
Working Hours and Role Requirements:
Our standard opening hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
This is a full-time position, contracted to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm.
This role is office-based; however, following successful completion of your probation, you will be eligible to work from home in line with the team rota.
Please note that the successful candidate must be flexible and available to:
- Attend on-site and external events outside of standard working hours
- Work occasional weekends as required for events
There may also be opportunities for overtime during busy trading periods.
