JOB DESCRIPTION

At The Elms we provide residential care for the elderly and frail and residents that are living with dementia. Our aim is to maintain and improve our residents’ abilities so they can live their life in a meaningful and fulfilling way. If you enjoy helping people and want to make a positive difference this job could be perfect for you.

We have two nights one week and one on another week available, an advantage to the Night Care Role would be experience and knowledge in administration of medication or willing to train to administer medication. At The Elms we use Penn Hill Pharmacy for our medication we are also happy to train staff who would like to administer medication within in our home.

THE ROLE

As a Night Care Assistant you will support residents within the care home, ensuring they receive the quality care they deserve. Following care plans; assisting with personal care, supporting with mealtimes, using specialized equipment and documenting all tasks carried out. We also have some housekeeping tasks to be completed.

The role of a Night Care Assistant is as varied as it is fulfilling.

We encourage and support all of our team to have the opportunity to complete their diploma in Health and Social Care.
