We have an amazing opportunity for some one new to join our amazing team at The Society of Alchemists located in the Shambles, York.

This shop is full of amazing and dark, body, bath, home and gift products all accompanied by some amazing scents, and created and made in York. Within the shop our friendly dragon sits over the Alchemists' tomb and watches over the staff and customers creating an exciting and imersive experience in the shop.

Our York based, but Yorkshire wide business has been growing for over 20 years, and we don't want to stop yet. This shop is gift, home and art orientated along with some of our famous hand made products, and lends itself well to tourists and locals alike, whilst they visit our amazing city.

If you want to be part of an exciting, independent, Yorkshire based company and you want to be part of the store team, then you need to look no further.

We are looking for a confident, retail focussed team members to join our amazing and magical team, delivering exceptional service and retail standards.

We have an 8 hour contract available (over 7 trading days), with the opportunity to work additional hours throughout the busy trading calendar.

In return we will provide a safe, secure and progressive environment, where your voice will be heard, and your actions will be recognised. Our company mission is to deliver magic in everything we do, if you feel like you could add some more magic, then apply today.

The ideal candidate will have shop or hospitility experience with an outgoing personality. We want someone who is customer service focused, passionate and supportive of their fellow team members, and hungry to succeed. Confidence in communicating with customers and team members is essential.

Main Duties:

· Supporting the shop operations, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.

· Replenishment and stock room duties.

· Maintaining shop standards and health and safety.

. Setting up for trade at the beginning of the day, receiving and merchandising deliveries, ensuring the store is clean and ready for trade.
