The position of Administrative MDT Coordinator within the Cardiology team has become vacant, and we are seeking a candidate with excellent typing, communication and organisational skills, ideally with a good knowledge of the Trust's Electronic Patient record.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in their work; possess personal attributes of empathy, compassion and respect; be able to demonstrate resilience and have an ability to work with personnel at all levels across the Trust.
The hours are 18.75 hours per week with no weekend working.
Coordinate and support Cardiology MDT meetings, including scheduling, preparation, room bookings and virtual set-up.
Accurately document MDT discussions, attendance, clinical decisions and agreed outcomes.
Maintain and update MDT patient records, ensuring information is complete and accurate.
Prepare and distribute MDT outcome reports to consultants, GPs and relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Manage MDT patient lists, including adding, updating and removing patients in line with clinical requests.
Liaise with consultants, clinical teams and tertiary centres to ensure all relevant patient information is available ahead of meetings.
Organise and circulate meeting links, agendas and documentation via Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
Act as a key point of contact for MDT coordination queries, ensuring professional communication with stakeholders.
Ensure records and documentation are managed in line with Trust policies, confidentiality and information governance requirements.
Support accurate data collection and contribute to service improvement, audit activity and MDT process efficiency.
Work independently to prioritise workload and meet deadlines within a busy service.
Provide general administrative support to the wider team when required.
