Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Primary School Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to inspire and support young learners in their educational journey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development by delivering engaging, tailored lessons that foster confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. As a Primary School Tutor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically and socially. Your energy and passion for teaching will help shape the future of eager learners in a vibrant school setting.

Duties

Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across core primary subjects, including literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies
Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and abilities
Provide targeted support for children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring inclusive learning experiences
Track student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and staff
Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop personalized learning plans that align with curriculum standards
Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, independence, and confidence
Support extracurricular activities and enrichment programs that enhance student engagement and development

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching within primary education settings
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds
Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning requirements is highly desirable
Strong communication skills to clearly convey concepts to young learners and collaborate with colleagues and parents
Knowledge of current primary education curriculum standards and best practices in teaching methods
