Job Summary:

Our newly renovated 20,000 sq/ft facility allows both Factory and HQ to operate under one roof. Its open-plan workspace has significantly enhanced collaboration and communication across all departments.

We are now seeking for a skilled Production Operative to join our Team in Huntington, York. If you have an eye for quality, technical mindset, high dexterity, or just want to work for a successful, secure Company – then this might be the opening for you.

This position is site based

Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm
Friday 8.00am-4.00pm (Friday working is non negotiable)
Totalling 37.75 hours per week

Duties:

Assembly of electronic products in accordance with work instructions, production schedule and quality requirements
Hand soldering of electronic components onto PCBA's to IPC-A-610 standards
Operation of production and inspection equipment- full training given
Complete production and quality documentation as required
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Compliance with ESD protection requirements
Support the Company’s continual improvement, 5S and lean initiatives
Complete any other reasonable tasks beneficial to the business

About you:

Ability to operate, at pace, to a high degree of accuracy and diligence is essential
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Able to work as part of a team
Capable of working to written instructions & diagrams
Will need to be flexible with the demands of the business

Qualifications:

IPC-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 preferable but not essential, however certification must be passed once full training has been given.

Previous experience in soldering or electronics is desirable

Those from an industry with transferable skills such as a machine operator will also be considered.
