Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of a camp site shower block. The ideal candidate will ensure that our facilities meet high standards of hygiene and presentation, creating a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This paid position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
Clean and sanitise toilets, washbasins, and other sanitary fittings to ensure hygiene standards are met
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as required
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll to ensure continuous availability
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management
Follow organisational procedures for health and safety, ensuring a secure working environment

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the shift
Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities

Hours

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7.30am-9.30am , Days will increase to 5 a day if wanted.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean environments and possess relevant experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
