We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing creative architectural solutions, managing projects from concept through to completion, and collaborating with clients and contractors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that blend aesthetic appeal with functional excellence, utilising a range of advanced design software and construction knowledge. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a passion for sustainable and innovative architecture.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Prepare detailed drawings, models, and visualisations to communicate design intent effectively.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and negotiate project scope and specifications.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently through effective project management practices.
Oversee construction phases ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical or logistical issues promptly.
Stay updated on industry trends, building regulations, and sustainable practices to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
Assist in joinery planning and selection of materials to ensure aesthetic cohesion and durability.

Experience

Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse project involvement.
Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD; experience with NavisWorks is highly desirable.
Skilled in 3D modelling tools such as Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp; familiarity with 3ds Max is advantageous.
Competent in Adobe Creative Suite for presentation purposes.
Knowledge of construction processes, joinery techniques, and project management methodologies.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and contractors.
Experience in sustainable design practices is preferred but not essential. This role offers an engaging environment where creativity meets technical expertise, providing opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in architecture.

Pay: £29,162.58-£59,052.09 per year
