POSITION SUMMARY:

We're looking for a detail-driven accounting professional to own all things finance for our US operations. You'll be the vital link between our US business and our UK accounting team, keeping the books, the vendors, the payroll, and the compliance running smoothly.

This role is hybrid, based in our Park Ave based office.

What you’ll be doing:

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

Scan and code invoices and expenses ahead of entry in Open Accounts (OA)
Process payments by check and ACH for all US payables
Maintain vendor files and W9s, resolve discrepancies, and keep vendor relationships running smoothly
Handle 1099 administration and annual filings

Corporate Cards & Expenses

Own the full US corporate card program issuing and cancelling American Express cards for new hires and departures
Configure and support expense management processes for accurate, compliant reporting
Manage corporate card submissions and inquiries

Banking & Cash Management

Monitor all US bank accounts and reconcile deposits, coordinating paperwork with UK credit control and accounting
Oversee merchant accounts, including chargebacks and new account setup

Payroll & Benefits

Process biweekly payroll through TriNet, partnering with HR on system administration
Reconcile expense reimbursements and payroll deductions

Tax & Compliance

Generate sales tax reports across stores and ecommerce using internal systems and Avalara (or similar)
Partner with the SVP, UK finance, and US accountants on tax matters, notices, and audits

Cross-Functional Support

Liaise with UK finance on commission and bonus payments
Manage setup and distribution of mobile devices for US staff
Support payment provision for pop-ups and events outside the main POS system
Take on other projects as they come up no two weeks look exactly the same
