Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee food preparation, manage kitchen operations, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. The successful applicant will have a background in food production, kitchen management, and hospitality, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and team management.

Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient operation and high-quality food preparation
Oversee all aspects of food production, from ingredient sourcing to final presentation
Develop and implement innovative menus in collaboration with management
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering to minimise waste and control costs
Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their culinary skills and teamwork
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with health regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Supervising experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
Experience in menu development and culinary innovation
Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
A passion for hospitality, serving guests, and delivering outstanding culinary experiences

Pay: £33,000.00 per year
