Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions across various platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative environment. The ideal applicant will possess strong programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for continuous learning.

Duties

Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, and Ruby on Rails.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Maintain and enhance existing software systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Utilise version control tools including GitHub, SVN, and Git to manage code repositories effectively.
Design and implement APIs and RESTful services to facilitate seamless integration between systems.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy scalable applications.
Write efficient SQL queries for database management using MySQL and SQL Server.
Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and continuous integration processes to uphold coding standards.
Contribute to front-end development tasks where applicable, ensuring user-friendly interfaces.
Document technical specifications and user manuals for developed applications.

Experience

Proven experience in software development across multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, or Ruby on Rails.
Familiarity with front-end development frameworks and tools such as HTML5, CSS3, React or Angular is advantageous.
Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub, SVN, or Git is essential.
Knowledge of cloud computing services including AWS and Azure for application deployment.
Strong understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and REST architecture principles.
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server is required.
Proficiency in Linux environments and command-line tools is preferred.
Background in software development methodologies including Agile or Scrum is desirable.
Additional skills in VBA or .NET frameworks will be considered a plus.
