We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Maintenance Manager at Buxted Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

What will the role involve?
As Maintenance Manager, you will lead by example to inspire and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service, always placing the guest experience at the heart of every task. You will take full ownership of the safety and security of the hotel, ensuring all health and safety requirements are met and records are accurately maintained. Responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a highly engaged team, you will ensure the hotel is maintained to consistently high standards in line with brand expectations and operating procedures. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will confidently make decisions, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines, while collaborating with others to achieve shared goals. You will also bring a strong understanding of business financials, including labour costs, stock control, forecasting, and budget management. Above all, you will bring energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for being part of a dedicated and supportive team.
This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.
Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.
