Role Summary
The National Crime Agency (NCA) Control Centre is the resilient, highly skilled and highly Capable 24/7 Situational Awareness Hub that sits at the heart of the NCA.
Part of National Tasking and Co-ordination (NTaC) under the Intelligence Directorate, the NCA Control Centre operates a 24/7, 365 day a year service to maintain vital situational awareness of the Agency's operational activity.
The NCA Control Centre provides the ideal environment to gain an in depth understanding of the wider NCA and build relationships with its Stakeholders, both home and abroad.

Role Description
You will work as part of a dedicated and committed set of Control Centre professionals handling varied tasks including both internal and external requests for assistance, contributing to the delivery of the Agency's operational activity and business objectives.
You will be required to work at pace in a dynamic environment, often managing competing demands. All officers working in this environment are required to pass a psychological assessment before final offer and to have regular psychological assessments thereafter.
The Control Centre works 24/7, 365 days a year and officers within this team are required to work shifts on a 5-weekly pattern (which will include nights, weekends and bank holidays)
Shift allowance of 30% of annual salary is paid for these roles (Pensionable).
Control Centre roles are available in Warrington only, the role does not allow you to work from home.

Duties and Responsibilities
You will be the first point of contact for a variety of calls and correspondence received by the NCA.
Proactively monitor NCA Operational activity and deployments and provide 24/7 support to NCA teams within the UK and abroad.
Identify, evaluate, record and disseminate intelligence received from potential Intelligence Sources via phone and via email.
Service over 35 on call functions, alongside providing the UK’s INTERPOL response as National Central Bureau Manchester.
Provide the NCA Command Team with situational awareness of operational capacity, capability, effectiveness and support to Critical Incident commanders.
Provide interoperation management and support, business continuity management, referrals management and provide specialist advice.
Deliver the Agency’s crucial first response to time sensitive situations such as Migrant Crossings, Kidnaps, Threats To Life and Child Safeguarding
The requirement to work towards the College of Policing accredited Intelligence Support Officer (ISOP) qualification through a compilation of portfolio evidence over a 12-24 month period.
