Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing personalised treatment programmes to help patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall mobility and quality of life. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment committed to patient-centred care. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, and a proactive approach to rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and medical histories.
Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programmes, and electrotherapy.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, posture correction, and home exercises.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy techniques and best practices through continuous professional development.

Experience

A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent regulatory body.
Proven experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with musculoskeletal, neurological or post-operative conditions is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
Knowledge of current physiotherapy equipment and treatment modalities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role is suitable for motivated professionals committed to delivering high-quality care that makes a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Pay: £29,608.47-£50,321.80 per year
