Great news! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative - Palletising and Despatch to join our Team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Operations

Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies

Despatch order checking against warehouse SAP documentation and accuracy in completion of all warehouse paperwork

Picking and Put away - allocation and distribution of Finish Goods

Safe operation of the Warehouse pallet movement systems

Reach, Counterbalance FLT and Powered Pallet Truck experience (desirable but full training will be given)

Palletising Operations

Daily Set up of machines to start the production cycle

Feeding materials / pallets to semi-automated machines

Responsible for housekeeping within their area (clean as you go)

Good understanding of food safety culture

Ability to work in a physical, chilled environment with activities to include bending, lifting and basic manual handling

WHAT YOU BRING

The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

Highly motivated, proactive and innovative

A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn

Previous experience of working with machinery and/or technically minded

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors efficiently on the production line

WHAT WE OFFER

Opportunities for overtime at 1.5x hourly rate or 2x hourly rate on Sundays
Weekly paid, 37.5 contractual hours per week on rotating weeks of am/pm shifts, Monday to Friday 05:35-14:05 and 13:45 to 22:15.
33 days annual leave (inc bank holidays) which increases with service.
