Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join our team, providing essential administrative and operational assistance within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting business functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our organisation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career in financial services while gaining valuable experience in a professional environment.

Duties

Assist with the preparation and organisation of financial documentation and reports
Support the management team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and maintaining records
Liaise with clients and external partners to facilitate communication and information exchange
Monitor and process financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organisational policies
Contribute to the development of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Maintain organised filing systems, both digital and physical, for easy retrieval of information
Provide general support across various departments as required, including data entry and correspondence management

Requirements

Prior experience or knowledge of financial services is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with basic financial software applications
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
A proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities
Relevant qualifications or training in finance or business support will be considered an advantage

Pay: £33,000.00-£41,700.00 per year
