Overview
Alifin Foods Limited is a family owned local business operating Y0! Sushi counters (franchised) in Galashiels. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Member to join our team. As a Franchise Team Member you will play a crucial role in preparing food to exceptional standards and delivering fantastic customer service. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, maintaining food safety standards and consistently growing sales. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced team setting, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kiosk.
Assist customers with menu selections and upselling items to enhance their dining experience.
Ensure all food is stored correctly and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Basic culinary skills with an eagerness to learn new techniques.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers.
Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
