Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative YouTube Video Editor to join our dynamic content creation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing engaging videos that align with our brand identity and audience preferences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise advanced editing software, and contribute to the growth of our online presence. The ideal applicant will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for visual storytelling.

Duties

Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos suitable for YouTube and other social media platforms
Incorporate graphics, animations, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro
Enhance video quality through colour correction and sound editing techniques
Collaborate with content creators to understand project requirements and deliver on creative vision
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
Utilise Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for supplementary visual content
Ensure all videos meet platform specifications and optimise for viewer engagement
Stay updated with current trends in video editing and digital content creation

Requirements

Proven experience in video editing, particularly for YouTube or social media content
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
Strong knowledge of photography principles and visual storytelling techniques
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
Creative flair with attention to detail and colour accuracy
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
A portfolio demonstrating previous video editing work is highly desirable

Pay: £8,000.00-£9,000.00 per month
