Do not apply for this company and if you have, run whilst you can. 
Management are awful and do nothing to support the staff who work tireless hours. 
Pay is so little for the work you do, you can get the same pay at any other job and not get beaten up for it. 
My experience featured false reports and lies about all staff. When hurt on the job the management don’t do anything to help. I’ve heard about workers being hurt badly and then expected to work the following day.
HR is a joke and do absolutely nothing to help even when you’re trying to report to someone higher than management. 
Service users are lovely, however there is no guidelines on which to follow and every member of staff does things differently which results in you having to handle the fall out from the previous staff on shift which could result in you being hurt because of their actions. 
They have a fantastic vision and ideas yet they do not follow these in any sense of the matter. Overall a good company but so poorly managed in the coleraine area.

Ive worked for positive futures for a few years and my life was made a living he'll from bullying from management from all levels.I only stuck it out for as long as I could because of the close bond I had with people I supported and their families.All the good staff have almost left because of terrible treatment from management and employer.new staff are inexperienced and they would empoyee anyone to fill seats.Experienced staff have being leaving in there droves over the years because they have had enough of pay cuts,working conditions,culture of coverups and lies from management from the bottom to the top.Out of touch from employer to there over worked and under valued staff.Working for £31.00 for sleep over shift which is half of minimum wage when you count hours worked on that shift.No offical breaks at all which is against the law and working regulations.

Positive Futures at the management level have made it very clear that they have no interest in the well being of their staff or of the people they support.

As a staff member I, along with many others in my role, was given a pay cut of over £400 per month due to "financial difficulties", despite Positive Futures covering the shifts they had taken from me and others with agency staff who's pay was over 200% of our standard rate. 

This was a tactic employed by management to coerce contracted workers into signing an extra-contractual agreement with the company.

The management are arrogant, patronising and have little to no regard for their staff. I would advise extreme caution if applying to the aforementioned company.

Unfortunately positive Futures appears determined to continue making bad choices,
Undervalues support staff in astonishing ways. Higher management given high wage as “has to be competitive in the market” to attract professionals this is not carried to support staff on low wages. This has created a pattern of only inexperienced people applying for jobs getting experience then leaving for fair wage elsewhere.
Most of the dedicated long term staff feel so under valued they have left or are actively searching for alternative jobs.
The individuals we support are unfortunately the people who suffer from all this mismanagement. 
Support worker teams are great and passionate about the people they support regularly going above and beyond expectations of their role if only senior management would treat them with the respect they deserve.

Worst company I’ve ever worked for would never recommend to a friend or anyone for that matter.... management has changed that many times staff can’t do right for doing wrong... zero praise to any staff... management work staff to the bone and in very difficult situations that may result in a severe/general injury with no after care offered to try and help staff through difficult times.... disgusted by the way staff are treated and the people who work there are fab minus a few bullies that are making it hard for everyone and reporting everything and anything just so the staff who do go above and beyond get into trouble. All of which resulting in a toxic work environment with staff not knowing who they can turn to. Also terrible rates of pay and guaranteed to have the wrong wage every month. Disgusting!

Awful decisions being made by upper management who are more concerned about growing and adding new services and referrals when they can't even staff their current ones. Extremely high turnover of staff which has led to current staff being highly over worked and stressed. They don't care about the wellbeing of their workers. Terrible induction; you're given lots to read but there's no actual job specific training and you're then thrown into the deep end to sink or swim. Also, being a 'person centred' charity, you would imagine your colleagues would be kind, however the way I was spoken to at times was shocking, I've never been spoken to in such an appalling and disrespectful manner 

Do you enjoy working short staffed? Do you enjoy working for free during night? Then postive futures is for you. Terrible work conditions when you inform management of this you will b punished and life be made hard for you  you will then be judged to be "negative " company is steered towards managament and will ignore all problems you may have and need support with. Money is terrible and they do like to cut your hard wage packet even more. Cant recruit new staff and when they do there inexperienced and normally dont last long. Mass exodus over the years from there good staff the people they support are the real lossers in there incompetence. Make sure to learn there core values cause the company wrote them for a laugh

I worked in positive futures for 6 yrs and the treatment of my myself and other staff is disgraceful especially if you have family or kids. Pay cuts to be expected and ridulous long shifts. Senior management are a joke and don’t work with staff. Staff opinions never listed to or taken on board. Management  jobs are fitted around the manager instead of the job role or people you support.  Very long shifts with no set breaks. No staff perks no matter is promised. The company donesnt try to hold on to excellent staff hence why they are always looking staff. The rate of pay for the amount of pressure and level or responsibility is ridulous.

Truly one of the most toxic companies ran by utterly ill mannered under qualified/experienced managers. You will be treated like dirt and the money is only good when you work every hour sent. Your expected to "pick up the slack" at every opportunity. You will be working 60+ hours & 3+ sleepovers per week. There is ZERO work/life balance but managements attitude is by far the worst thing about this job. The turnover rate is incredibly high and for good reason. This organisation is so far behind the times and you just best hope you don't have a crisis because you'll be spoken to like a dog and told to sort it yourself. 

the work everyday is very enjoyable. working with young children is something I have wanted to do since I started collage. working with children with autism and other disabilities is a bonus as I have family members that have those. so my career base would be on the lines of that. ive learnt so many things while working. my co-workers are brilliant to work with. get along very well and understand each others needs and listen to each others ideas. the most enjoyable part of my job is looking after the children and seeing them enjoying there self which makes me confident that ive done for the session and everythings gone to plan.
