Job Overview

Build a Career, Not Just an Office Job

O’Hara Services Ltd is a growing property maintenance and refurbishment company delivering maintenance, compliance and refurbishment works for housing associations, local authorities and commercial clients across Yorkshire.

We’re looking for an organised, motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Business Support Coordinator.

This role will initially focus on administration, customer service and supporting the day-to-day running of the business. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you’ll take on greater responsibility, including programming works, planning labour, supporting contract delivery and working directly alongside the Managing Director to help develop and grow the business.

Your Responsibilities

Initially, you’ll be responsible for:

* Preparing reports and documentation for clients.

* Managing emails and customer correspondence.

* Speaking with customers, tenants and clients, providing updates and resolving queries.

* Scheduling appointments and coordinating engineers.

* Updating our job management systems and maintaining accurate records.

* Assisting with quotations and contract documentation.

* Supporting the day-to-day running of the office.

* General administrative duties.

As you develop within the role, you’ll also become involved in:

* Programming and scheduling maintenance and refurbishment works.

* Planning labour, materials and resources.

* Supporting the delivery of contracts from start to completion.

* Identifying ways to improve systems and office processes.

* Working closely with the Managing Director on business development and operational improvements.

* Taking ownership of projects and progressing into a more senior operational role.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

* Confident communicating with customers and colleagues.

* Professional, friendly and approachable.

* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software.

* Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

* Positive, proactive and eager to learn.

* Looking for a long-term career rather than just another job.

Desirable (but not essential)

* Experience in construction, property maintenance or social housing.

* Experience using scheduling or job management software.

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

* Experience working within a busy office environment.
