Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this energetic role, you will play a vital part in food preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills, gain valuable kitchen experience, and work alongside experienced chefs in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Your enthusiasm for food and commitment to excellence will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking processes, following established recipes and standards
Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols at all times
Prepare ingredients and components for various dishes, ensuring freshness and quality
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service periods
Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards diligently to uphold health compliance
Contribute to the presentation of dishes, ensuring they meet visual standards before serving

Qualifications

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, but full training will be given
Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene regulations is essential
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork skills with an emphasis on communication and collaboration
Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow within the hospitality industry

Join us as a Commis Chef and be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This part time position involves weekend work, but no split shifts and would be ideally suited to someone at college on a food related course.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
