Full job description

We're seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Duty Manager at Venue Name. REQUIRMENTS:

MUST have 1-2 years’ experience in role or similar position with proven track record.
MUST have strong leadership and delegation skills.
MUST have excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
MUST have good administration skills.
MUST be a UK citizen or have legal work eligibility in the UK.
MUST have valid driver’s license and transportation to and from work.
MUST have a clear criminal record.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Operations Manager.

Assisting with front of house recruitment and sitting in on interviews as needed.

Conducting front of house training for Food and Beverage Staff, Bar Servers, Night Porter as needed.

Assisting with bar prediction for ordering bar stock, conducting bar stocktake, bar stocking and set ups in absence of Bar or Operations Manager.

Managing till system and reports. Recording bar gross income on company software.

Ensuring smooth and coordinated handovers from Wedding Coordinator at the end of their event shift and Duty Manager end of shift report and handover to Operations Manager.

Managing all food and beverage service aspects on shift.

Ensuring correct and swift communication takes place between the F&B team and other venue departments.

Adhering to all licenses and insurance policies as well as alcohol laws.

Overseeing and assisting with event setups and breakdowns to ensure venue spaces are prepared smoothly, professionally and on time.

Managing and adhering to venue sound volumes. Overseeing and conducting regular event decibels (dB) readings and ensuring readings are recorded.

Event supplier liaison and coordination.

Cleaning and resetting venue for next day

Overseeing night venue security and safety.

Managing the storage and upkeep of bar equipment, event linen, tables and chairs.

Maintaining accurate and orderly bar administration.

The above summary includes the responsibility of the role but is not limited to.

SALARY:

£25K- £28K per annum (dependant on experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
