Full job description

Production PlannerJob DescriptionJohn Roberts Associates is seeking an organised, proactive, and self-motivated Production Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating production schedules, supporting the smooth flow of work through the business, and ensuring excellent communication between clients, production, suppliers, and internal departments. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, prioritise workloads effectively, and contribute to the efficient day to day operation of the business. Training will be given.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
Process customer orders and ensure they are accurately scheduled for production.
Check courier services, track deliveries, and resolve any logistics issues.
Maintain filing worksheets, documents and production records.
Welcome visitors and guests, receive deliveries and packages, and ensure they are passed promptly to the appropriate person.
Manage stock levels of office stationary and consumables.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, responding to customer and supplier enquiries professionally.
Work closely with sales, graphics and accounts teams to support business operations.
Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and operational improvements.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in production planning, production coordination, or a similar role.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Confident using Microsoft Office, Excel and ERP systems (Opera Pegasus 3 - Training will be given).
Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
