Full job description

Subject Access Request (SAR) Administrator - 6 Month FTC

Clinical Partners is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Subject Access Request (SAR) Administrator to support the timely and compliant handling of Subject Access Requests and contribute to the highest standards of data protection, confidentiality and information governance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in data protection, compliance, information governance or healthcare administration who is looking to develop their career within a growing healthcare organisation.

We're looking for a strong administrator with a good understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and care. You'll be proactive, solutions-focused and confident working both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and deliver a high-quality service.

In return, you'll join a supportive organisation that values professionalism, integrity and continuous improvement, where you'll play an important role in protecting patient confidentiality and supporting effective data governance. This is primarily a home-based role with occasional travel required for meetings and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Subject Access Request Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end SAR process, ensuring requests are handled professionally, accurately and within statutory deadlines. Working closely with the Data Protection Officer and colleagues across the business, you will play a key role in supporting GDPR compliance and protecting sensitive patient information.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing Subject Access Requests from receipt through to completion.
Verifying identities and maintaining accurate records throughout the process.
Liaising with clinical and operational teams to retrieve relevant information.
Preparing and issuing SAR responses within required timescales.
Escalating complex or sensitive requests to the Data Protection Officer.
Supporting audits, reporting activities and data protection projects.
Identifying potential risks or data protection concerns.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of SAR processes and documentation.

Requirements:

Experience handling Subject Access Requests or working within a data protection/compliance role.
Familiarity with GDPR and UK data protection legislation.
Strong administrative experience.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
Experience within a healthcare or clinical environment (desirable)
Understanding of clinical governance frameworks (desirable)
Knowledge of Clinical Partners systems and processes (desirable)
