Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Cafe Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals and beverages that delight our customers and enhance their overall experience. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to maintain high culinary standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
Assist in meal assembly, plating, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and equipment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation or kitchen roles within a restaurant or café environment
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving customers
Prior experience with food handling certifications or willingness to obtain necessary certifications prior to start date
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer interaction is a plus
