Location: Our cosy, "Home from Home" Cottage Nursery
Hours: Full-time, 42 hours per week (4 or 5-day working week available)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Role

We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with babies and wants to be part of a supportive team that is committed to delivering exceptional care and education. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll help create a nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure, and encouraged to learn through play.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for babies aged 0–2 years.
Build warm, secure relationships with children and develop positive partnerships with families.
Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Observe children's development and contribute to learning journeys and assessments.
Help maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Promote children's wellbeing, confidence, and independence through responsive and nurturing care.
Work closely with colleagues to provide the highest standards of care and education.

About You

You'll have:

A Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
Experience working with babies or young children in an Early Years setting (preferred but not essential).
A basic understanding of the EYFS and child development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A warm, caring, and positive approach.
A genuine passion for giving babies the very best start in life.
A willingness to learn, develop, and grow within a supportive nursery team.

Requirements

Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years.
Experience working in an Early Years setting is desirable but not essential.
