Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Takeaway Assistant and become a key player in delivering exceptional food experiences! Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble takeaway orders accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and food safety standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, plating, and portioning ingredients to support kitchen operations
Serve customers with a positive attitude, answering questions about menu items and ensuring satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeaway counter, storage areas, and workstations in compliance with health regulations
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by handling meal prep tasks and ensuring timely delivery of orders
Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
Manage order processing through POS systems or manual logs, ensuring all transactions are accurate and complete

Experience

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety practices, and kitchen operations enhances your ability to excel in this role
Hands-on experience with food preparation techniques such as chopping, assembling dishes, or plating is advantageous
Strong serving skills combined with excellent communication help create a welcoming customer experience
Culinary experience or background in food safety certifications will support your success in maintaining high standards
