About Square Health
Square Health is a leading digital healthcare provider, delivering innovative clinical services and technology platforms to insurers, employers, and consumers. Our ecosystem spans mobile and web applications, enterprise portals, APIs, and integrated clinical services enabling scalable, personalised healthcare journeys.

Job Overview
The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will own Square Health's digital channels as the engine that turns demand into qualified pipeline. The role is accountable for the website, search visibility across both traditional and AI answer engines, paid media and the interactive tools that help buyers self-qualify and convert.
Working alongside the Content Marketing Specialist and wider marketing team, the role translates Square Health's integrated workforce health proposition into digital experiences that reach senior HR, People, finance and executive buyers at UK employers, as well as insurer, bank and affinity partners, and moves them from first click to sales conversation. This is a hands-on role that combines digital planning with day-to-day delivery, and that is measured on lead quality, conversion and commercial contribution rather than activity or traffic alone.
Main Accountabilities
- Website ownership and performance. Own the Square Health website as the primary digital shopfront and conversion platform, including roadmap, content structure, user experience, accessibility, page speed and ongoing optimisation. Manage templates, governance and the ongoing site redevelopment so the site stays fast, credible and commercially effective.
- SEO and answer engine optimisation (AEO). Own organic visibility across traditional search and AI-generated answers. Lead technical SEO, on-page optimisation, structured data and a keyword and topic strategy that captures buyers researching integrated workforce health, occupational health, PMO and related needs. Work with the Content Marketing Specialist so content earns rankings and is surfaced in AI answer engines.
- Paid media and demand generation. Plan, run and optimise paid search, paid social and display or programmatic activity to generate qualified leads and pipeline. Own targeting, creative testing, bidding, budgets and return on ad spend, with a particular focus on reaching HR, People, finance and executive decision-makers on the platforms where they engage.
- Interactive tools and lead capture. Build, launch and optimise interactive lead-generation tools such as solution builders, cost or ROI calculators and self-assessments that help buyers understand their needs, self-qualify and convert. Own forms, lead journeys and clean handoff into the CRM.
- Conversion rate optimisation. Run a structured programme of testing and optimisation across the digital journey, including A/B and multivariate testing, landing page improvement and funnel analysis, to lift lead volume, lead quality and conversion rates over time.
- Analytics, measurement and reporting. Own digital measurement and reporting, including analytics, tag management, attribution and dashboards. Report clearly on traffic, rankings, spend efficiency, lead volume and quality, and contribution to pipeline, and use insight to guide investment and priorities.
- Marketing technology and data. Own the digital marketing technology stack and its integration with HubSpot, including tracking, lead routing and scoring and the flow of data from website to CRM. Ensure consent, cookie and data-protection practices are compliant and appropriate to a regulated healthcare context.
- Digital campaign delivery. Working with the Growth Marketing Lead, translate marketing and go-to-market campaigns into coordinated digital execution across website, search and paid channels, working closely with content and sales so that digital activity supports the full journey from awareness through to conversion.
- Agency and supplier management. Brief, manage and hold to account external agencies, freelancers and platform partners across development, SEO and paid media, ensuring work is delivered to brief, budget and quality standard.
- Cross-functional collaboration and leadership. Act as the senior digital voice in the team, collaborating with marketing, sales, IT, clinical, product and partner colleagues.
Skills & Attributes Required
- Proven senior digital marketing experience owning website, SEO, paid media and analytics, ideally in a B2B, considered-purchase or regulated environment.
- Strong technical and content SEO knowledge, with a working understanding of answer engine optimisation and how content is surfaced in AI-generated search results.
- Hands-on paid media experience across search and social platforms, with real ownership of budgets and return on ad spend.
- Experience building or managing interactive lead-generation tools, landing pages and conversion journeys.
- Strong analytical skills, including analytics platforms, tag management, attribution and dashboards, with the ability to turn data into commercial decisions.
- Confident using HubSpot CRM and marketing automation tools and integrating them with digital channels.
- Understanding of UK data protection and consent requirements as they apply to digital marketing, with sensitivity to handling health-related audiences responsibly.
- Commercial mindset, able to connect digital activity to leads, pipeline and revenue rather than vanity metrics.
- Experience managing external agencies, freelancers and suppliers to brief, budget and standard.
- Strong organisation, stakeholder management and attention to detail.
- Collaborative and able to work effectively with sales, marketing, clinical and operational teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities and multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Professional approach to brand, accuracy, audience needs and commercially sensitive information.
Behaviours Required
- Takes ownership and accountability for outcomes, not just activity.
- Commercially minded, with a focus on measurable results and value.
- Collaborative and generous with knowledge across teams.
- Curious and continuously learning, keeping pace with fast-moving digital and search developments.
- High standards of accuracy, brand consistency and compliance.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritise under changing demands.
