Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents within a professional kitchen environment, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests. The Chef de Partie will work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional cuisine in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and management of your designated section within the kitchen
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including tools and utensils
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods
Monitor stock levels within your section and communicate needs for replenishment
Support the training of junior staff and interns as required
Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal offerings

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in high-volume or fine dining establishments
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and culinary styles
Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced setting is essential
Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
