Location: Elland Road, Leeds

Contract Fixed Term (7 Months) – August/September 2026 to 23 March 2027

Hours of Work: 37.5 Hours Per Week

What You’ll Be Doing

We are looking for a welcoming, organised, and customer-focused Front of House (Youth Mentor) to support the delivery of the Leeds United Foundation Youth Hub programme.

Working closely with the Youth Hub team, Department for Work and Pensions colleagues, and the Foundation's Business Support team, you will provide a professional front-of-house service while supporting unemployed young people on their journey towards employment.

You will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for visitors, coordinating appointments and workshops, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring customers receive a supportive and professional experience throughout their engagement with the programme.

Key Responsibilities:

Front of House & Customer Service

Provide a professional, welcoming, and trusted front-of-house service.
Act as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and colleagues.
Manage reception activities, appointments, and visitor arrivals.
Welcome visitors, verify identification, and direct individuals to appointments and workshops.
Maintain a visible and professional presence within reception and public areas.
Respond promptly and professionally to telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries.
Manage the Foundation Business Support inbox and telephone line.
Support Foundation ticketing and matchday ticket allocation processes when required.

Appointment & Customer Administration

Prepare appointment schedules and attendee lists.
Manage registration forms, assessments, support plans, and programme documentation.
Create and maintain accurate customer records using SharePoint, Salesforce, Excel, and other systems.
Upload and maintain customer files, documentation, and case notes.
Support appointments and customer administration during periods of staff absence.
Ensure all customer information is maintained securely and accurately.

Workshop & Programme Support

Prepare workshop materials, resources, refreshments, and venue arrangements.
Coordinate attendance and communicate with participants before workshops.
Support workshop registration, attendance monitoring, and identification checks.
Update attendance records and upload supporting documentation following sessions.
Assist young people attending workshops and programme activities.

Safeguarding, Compliance & Team Working

Handle sensitive information confidentially and in accordance with GDPR.
Record and report safeguarding concerns in line with Foundation procedures.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Work collaboratively with Youth Hub colleagues, DWP partners, Foundation staff, and external stakeholders.
Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Support young people in progressing towards education, training, and employment opportunities.
Undertake any reasonable duties required to support Foundation objectives.

Experience working within a front-of-house, reception, or customer-focused environment.

Experience providing administrative support and maintaining accurate records.

Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.

Experience managing competing priorities in a busy environment.

Experience providing high levels of customer service.

Experience using digital systems, databases, spreadsheets, or CRM platforms.

Desirable

Experience working with young people in a community, employability, education, or support setting.

Experience using SharePoint, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems.

Knowledge of safeguarding practices when working with young people.

Experience supporting workshops, events, or group activities.

Relevant administration, business support, customer service, or office management qualification.
