Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Junior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical and sales skills within the lifting equipment industry. You will support our sales efforts by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and promoting our comprehensive range of crane solutions. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow their career in sales and engineering while contributing to our reputation for quality service.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Junior Sales Engineer to join our expanding team. This role focuses on selling engineering service contracts, managing tender packages, and working directly with procurement departments to secure new business.

You will play a key part in growing our service portfolio, building strong client relationships, and delivering technical value with every contract sold.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through the sale of engineering service contracts
Manage tender submissions and respond to procurement enquiries
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Identify opportunities for upselling and multi‑year contract growth
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate service proposals
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets

What We Offer

£30,000 base salary
Fuel card
10% commission on all new service contracts (uncapped)
10% annual bonus for hitting yearly targets
Structured working week (38 hours) with early finish Fridays
Full training and ongoing development
Clear progression opportunities within the sales team

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience in sales of engineering contracts
Strong understanding of tender packages and procurement processes
Excellent people skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
Proactive approach to sales, lead generation, and problem‑solving
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
Full UK driving licence
North West UK applicants only
