Full job description

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Assistant Management Accountant EMEA to join our team in London, UK.

We’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive accounting professional to join our EMEA Finance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy owning processes, and want to make a real impact on financial reporting and controls—this could be your next move.

What you’ll be doing

Owning key parts of the month-end and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial statement reviews.
Ensuring accurate accounting treatment in line with GAAP across multiple regional entities.
Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting robust financial reporting.
Supporting Accounts Payable activities, including invoice reviews, expense checks and payment runs.
Preparing VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements.
Playing a key role in audit cycles, preparing schedules and supporting audit requests.
Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements.
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across finance operations.
Supporting projects and initiatives, including internal controls and technical accounting research.

What we’re looking for

Strong experience in month-end close, reconciliations and reporting.
Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
Experience with Accounts Payable processes.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong Excel skills, with working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion (HFM) preferred.
Confident communicator, able to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Your background

Studying towards or qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
3–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
Experience in financial reporting, audits and statutory accounts.
Additional European languages are a plus, but not essential.
